AVT Cameras: Software

		AVT FirePackage is an IEEE1394 Software Development Kit (SDK) designed for 32-bit Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and NT4 systems, which can be used with all AVT Firewire cameras. It is designed for experienced programmers who intend to develop high-end image processing applications. It provides easy access to AVT cameras' powerful SmartFeatures. The SDK provides a high-performance IEEE1394 bus driver that replaces the Microsoft driver on all cards it is installed to, enabling image transmission data rates of up to 800 Mbit/sec (1394b) even on Vista systems. The driver is signed, and full control of the Firewire bus and AVT cameras is provided via several C and C++ APIs. Wrappers for .Net are also available.

		AVT Active FirePackage (AFP) is an SDK that focuses on ActiveX control based programming, but also provides interfaces for DirectShow and TWAIN for connecting easily to third-party imaging software. The SDK is compatible with Microsoft Windows (Vista, XP, 2000) and includes an IEEE1394 digital camera system driver that is based on the Windows Driver Model (WDM). The driver can be installed manually, or via an automatic driver install tool. The AFP has been created for programmers who are familiar with ActiveX controls, COM, DirectShow or TWAIN, and who want to utilize application development tools such as Visual C++, Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, Java, Delphi, and others.

		AVT Direct FirePackage is an SDK that focuses on DirectShow and DirectX programming. The SDK is compatible with Microsoft Windows (XP, 2000) and includes a DirectShow compatible Stream Class driver that is based on the Windows Driver Model (WDM). This makes the DFP the ideal solution for interacting with 3rd-Party streaming applications.

		AVT Fire4Linux Package is ideally-suited for users who are looking for a standard and powerful alternative to Windows OS. AVT Fire4Linux is a complete SDK developed especially for AVT cameras, configured for the SUSE and Red Hat distributions, for "Plug-and-Play" experience. With a comfortable viewer, all functions of the cameras are easy to use and the comprehensive libraries enable rapid development of diverse applications.

		The GigE Vision SDK supports Windows Vista and XP, Linux and QNX operating systems on both Intel and Power PC platforms, enabling users to also run our GigE Vision cameras on low-cost SBC computers for embedded and OEM applications. A MAC OS X version of the SDK is also available.
